The nationally sponsored Fall of Freedom is “an urgent call to the arts community to unite in defiance of authoritarian forces sweeping the nation.” Kara Hammond Open Studio and Gallery Vitrine are participating through showcasing the work of local artists responding to our national crisis. November 21 was an evening of spoken word, song, and visual art in which participating artists shared their work with an engaged community. We will continue to meet the moment with our talent, our activism, and our art.
