Combining natural materials with silhouetted forms and layering them with handmade inks, creating a sort of light collage. Playing here with the crochet handiwork of vintage doilies and found objects overlaying inked garden webs. The grounds I am working with on these are either natural paper or true gesso on wood panel. I am enjoying the painterliness of this early photographic process, keeping the incidental spray and drips. From there they take on the layering of collage but with a continuous surface of a photograph or drawing.
